The Bundeskartellamt has closed its abuse of dominance proceedings against Amazon in which it examined the company’s general terms of business and certain practices vis-a-vis sellers on its German marketplace amazon.de. Amazon has amended the general terms of business for sellers on its marketplaces objected to by the Bundeskartellamt and promised further alterations to its marketplace operation to dispel competition concerns about the practices contested.
